Risk comes from not knowing what you are doing.Warren Buffet
The level of risk you are prepared to take with your money and your capacity for loss, is one of the fundamental decisions that need to be made and agreed upon when investing. There is no right or wrong choice of risk, however, it is personal preference, as an acceptable level of risk to you may be unacceptable to others.
To ensure consistency, we follow the same risk assessment process with all clients.
We do recognise that risk is a relative measure and therefore a key part of our discussion with you about investment risk, will be to actively inform and educate you about the relationship between risk and return.
In addition, we will want to understand your capacity for loss and how this may effect you not only financially, but also psychologically and emotionally.
We assess your answers using our sophisticated risk profiling system and present you with your own personal risk score. This offers us a blueprint from which we can then, together, discuss the most appropriate way to invest your money to meet your goals and objectives.
